Prawns popcorn
Ingredients:
Prawns 1 cup
Rice flour 2 tpn
Gram flour 2 tpn
Ginger garlic paste 1 tpn
Salt 1 tpn
Red Chilli powder 1 tpn
Lime juice 2 tpn
Egg wash (1 EGG)
bread crumbs
Chaat masala ½ tpn
Procedure:
- In a bowl take cleaned prawns and grease it with ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, rice flour and gram flour ,salt ,lime juice and marinate it for an hour.
- Now take oil in a pan with a quantity enough to deep fry the above marinated prawns.
- Now dip marinated prawns in egg wash first and then roll them in bread crumbs.
- When the oil in the pan gets heated adequately deep fry the prawns until they get properly cooked and turn golden brown in colour.
- Now remove the fried prawns on a tissue paper and sprinkle some chaat masala .
- Serve hot with schezwan sauce or tomato ketchup.
Tips:
Take atmost care to properly clean
the prawns .
Cut raw prawns from centre and
thoroughly remove the black thread from it.
